The last two weeks were barren of Supernatural reruns, so we asked the fans to send in contributions for a fan-created podcast. It can be hard to think out of the box, and even harder to create out of the box, but the fans turned in some unique contributions. This week’s podcast was edited by Dana, but the content is all fan. Enjoy!

Don’t forget, season three of Supernatural kicks off on Thursday, October 4th. If you need a quick refresher, check out the video montage the CW put together to a shiny little AC/DC tune.

It is time for a proper kick-off for the second campaign!

Fandom Rocks: Supernatural Fandom Campaigns for Charity

Campaign #2 – September 1, 2007 through March 1, 2008
In support of …
The Lawrence Humane Society
AND
The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund

As you know, Fandom Rocks’ first campaign supported the Lawrence Community Shelter. The campaign was a success and officially ended on September 1, 2007. However, an anonymous donor from Champaign, IL discovered our campaign and decided to send a donation on behalf of Fandom Rocks. Anne Bracker, member of the shelter’s board of directors, notified us on September 15, 2007. The donation was in the amount of $400 USD. We are extremely honored they chose to support our charity after the campaign ended in the name of Supernatural fans. Thank you.

The shelter received additional good news in late August regarding one of their job-skills programs, the Change of Heart street paper. The program received a $9,000 USD grant from Ethics and Excellence in Journalism Foundation of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. You can learn more at the University Daily Kansan web site.

Last week’s episode of Supernatural was “All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 2.” Brande and Dana created today’s podcast. Be sure to listen to the opening for something special! Of course, with video comes larger file sizes. We tried to keep it small, so tell us if you are willing to endure larger files for better quality or if this is just about right.

P.S. Here are the names of the winners of the Kansas Film Commission items, in order. Please send us an email so we can coordinate sending the item to you!

Last week’s episode of Supernatural was “All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 1.” Brande and Dana created tonight’s podcast, and we are trying a few new things. First? Video! Video-podcast. Vodcast. However you like to call it. Of course, with video comes larger file sizes. We tried to keep it small, so tell us if you are willing to endure larger files for better quality or if this is just about right. We are also trying out “Three Questions with a Fan,” and we want you to be in the next podcast. Don’t be shy.
